Roquemaure’s geographical location – at the heart of the southern Rhône Valley – made it an important hub for the wine trade towards the end of the Middle Ages. Our winery, established in 1922 on the right bank of the Rhône, also brings together winegrowers from several different villages.

With around 50 winegrowers, 370 hectares of vineyard and an annual production of 20,000 hl, our winery is just a small speck compared to the might of some of the bigger cooperatives. But we make a virtue out of necessity:  we have complete control over every aspect of production, from the vineyard through to maturing and bottling – which is carrie out on the estate.

For many years, our winegrowers have been farming their vineyards sustainably, limiting agricultural inputs; in the winery too, we limit the use of oenological additives.

Grapes undergo a rigorous selection process, and only the best parcels are approved for use in our classic Gard PGI blend, our selection of varietal, Côtes du Rhône, Côtes du Rhône Villages Laudun, Lirac and Tavel wines.

Our range includes deliciously fruity wines as well as more complex cuvees made for further cellaring.
