Meticulous care in the vineyards and manual harvests let nature express itself to perfection.
Domaine Carmélisa lies in Saint-Victor-la-Coste, a picturesque village in the Gardois between Nîmes and Avignon, at the very heart of the Rhône Valley. It grows Syrah, Grenache, Mourvèdre and Carignan across 30 hectares of tranquil slopes on stony, mineral-rich soils, surrounded by scents of garrigue. Two thirds of the vineyard is still harvested by hand, and all grapes are sustainably grown. Weedkillers are avoided, and soils are ploughed – allowing nature to express itself to its best advantage.
